I am restoring a "70 swiger 340. It origially had a front bench seat. It now has bucket seats. I have found 1972 Dodge Dart front bench seat and rear seat that arethe approriate blue color. Will they fit properly into my swinger? Thanks Neal

By properly fitting in your car, I assume you mean "physically" attaching the seats to your car, correct? if so, than yes, they will fit.

What I meant to say is will they fit into the car without have to make modificatins such as drilling holes through the floor. I realize that the seats appearances are diferent. But thats what I may need to do for now. This is my first attempt at a restoration and the biggist thing I have learned is that the budget goes alot faster than I expected and theres always some unexpected way you need to spend *** Thanks for you're input Neal

As far as i can imagine being that both these cars are A-bodies the floor pans are the same. The difference here would be if the cars were orinially equipped with bucket or bench seats. Bucket seat cars have a slightly different contour on the trans tunnel side of the floor and have extra holes in the floor for the studs on a bucket bracket. other than those differences the floors are pretty much identical.
She wanted the real thing. So I gave it to her.
