Come see why car collectors and spectators alike consider it the best show in New England! Gorgeous, meticulously restored cars dating from the turn-of-the-century to the early 1970s cover nearly every inch of our beautiful 40-acre hilltop campus. The festive, family-friendly atmosphere and spectacular views of the fall foliage make this the perfect way to spend an autumn day. Children's activities will again include some vintage toys like stilts and hoops. Our food menu, with healthy choices made right here in our own kitchen, receives rave reviews every year. Everyone loves the Kids Meal served in the classic car carrier. Dancers from Fred Astaire Dance Studios demonstrate the vintage dances from all the years of the antique automobiles on display. You may have an opportunity to get on the dance floor as well! Wayne Carini, star of Discovery Channel's Chasing Classic Cars will be filming some the cars at our show and will also be on hand to sign autographs and answer your questions. This year's show will celebrate our state's prestigious past with a unique display of Connecticut-made vehicles. Plan to come and spend a great day at the Klingberg Antique Auto Show 2009.

Car Owner Information:

We welcome all antique cars 1972 and older.

Gates open for antique cars at 8:30 AM

Truck/trailer parking at Rock Cats Stadium or Vance School

Rock Cats Stadium Parking is approx. 1 mile away and there are shuttle buses all day

Vance School is closer 4 Blocks but there are no shuttle buses

Car owners requested to stay until 3:00 PM

Best in Show & Peoples Choice Trophies awarded at 3:15 PM

Vehicle registration 1940 -1972: $10; Pre-1940 show cars admitted free

Approximately thirty trophies awarded by major show sponsors, local celebrities and guest judges to the car of their choice. Trophies will be awarded on the hour from 11:00 A & M to 3:00 PM; Best in Show at 3:15

We welcome all antique automobile owners (cut off year 1972) to show their cars.

Connecticut Made Automobiles: If you are the owner of a Ct made automobile please register with us so that we can reserve space for you for the special display. We look forward to seeing all of these rare automobiles together in one display. To register please send an email markj@klingberg.org or a note via postal mail with the following information;

1. Your name, address, and contact information
2. Your e-mail address
3. The year, make and model of the classic automobile you are bringing.
4. A photograph,if you can spare one, and any special story or information about your car.
